How long does a mural take?
Naturally, the size and complexity of the mural will determine how many days it will take us to complete. However, we do take pleasure in being comparatively quick. In order to quickly finish murals, we have devised effective painting techniques. We only work on one project at a time, so we are committed to finishing your mural. A room typically requires 2 to 5 full days to paint. Our 25 square foot minimum mural can typically be finished in a single day.

How much does a mural cost?
Every mural job is different, thus we provide a personalised quote for every customer. To help you understand how price varies depending on various aspects, we have developed a pricing guide.

How should the wall be prepared?
The wall or space should be free of furniture and paintings before we arrive to paint the mural. The wall doesn't always need to be newly painted. The wall just has to be cleaned to remove dust if the base coat colour already there complements the mural design and is in good condition. Patching and touching up any holes or damaged areas with the base coat paint is advised. If a fresh base coat will be applied to the room before the mural, it must be finished a full day before the mural is set to start. We advise the base coat be scheduled because there can be delays when working with paint contractors.

Will you paint the base coat, too?
In specific circumstances, we can paint the primer for you. Although we charge more for base coats than the majority of painters and don't paint trim or ceilings, some customers think the convenience is worth the increased price. We only typically paint the base coat when the mural covers an entire wall or a significant piece of one. We do have reliable painters we can suggest if necessary. During the first consultation, we will go through every base coat option with you.

How do I care for the finished mural?
Like any other interior wall, a mural can be handled the same way. Since our interior latex paints are "scrubbable" eggshell, most scuffs and marks can be removed using a mild cleanser without abrasives (not solvents). In the event that outside murals need to be protected from UV rays and/or vandalism, we will go over your alternatives with you beforehand. The Dotzot can offer touch-up services for mural repair due to damage. For details, kindly get in touch with us.

Do you work with interior designers?
Working with decorators and interior designers makes us pleased! Whatever is most practical for you, that is how we will collaborate with you. We also reward designers who refer their clients to us with a commission. To learn more, kindly get in touch with us.

I have my own design or logo. Can you paint it for me?
Typically, yeah For us to be able to see what you have in mind, kindly include a website link or an attachment with your initial contact email.
- Most of the time, we are able to accurately replicate a commercial brand or signs.
- When we make something from an artistic sketch made by another artist, it will have our unique style. Before we start painting, we'll go over any significant adjustments with you in advance and ask for your permission on renderings.
- Please be aware that we are not permitted to replicate licenced content, including trademarks and cartoon characters that belong to another party.
